I am Janet

I come from California’s Central Valley, where I grew up in an underprivileged community made up largely of agricultural workers and small business owners. From a young age, I was inspired to give back to these underrepresented communities by helping bring greater resource equity to low-income areas.

As a software engineer specializing in front-end development and graphic design, I’m committed to building ethical technology that addresses real human needs and is accessible to everyone.

Our Philosophy

Over the past couple of decades, technology and the internet have become an essential part of everyday life—and falling behind the curve can seriously limit access to opportunities. A large percentage of the world still deals with slow internet and low tech literacy. After spending time in both low-income and more well-off communities, I've seen how access to resources and opportunities can really depend on your financial situation.
That gap is real and I want to help bridge it. At Codig, we think reliable tech should be available to everyone, no matter your background or budget.
